Gold & Silver Flutes
Our selection of fine handmade instruments are available with drawn or soldered tone holes. All are made from precious metals and with a variety of mechanical modifications.
The flutes with soldered tone holes are hard soldered and tempered to produce an instrument which speaks easily with a particularly appealing sound quality. Through the combination of traditional craftsmanship and the most recent technical developments including computer technology we are able to produce instruments of exceptionally high quality.
By means of an axle for the keys of the left hand, flutes can be built pinless and are therefore easier to play. This is especially noticeable with in-line flutes.
Many modern construction techniques have been developed in our company. For example, the keys are cut out from milled silver sheets, not stamped which is the usual method. In this way the keys are more stable and absolutely flat for easier and more accurate pad positioning.
As our instruments are individually made to order, it is possible for us to adapt to a performers special requests.
In addition all flutes are offered with a selection of headjoints and the buyer has the possibility to change headjoints within one year of purchase.
